With over forty years of working in stained glass, I have learned some basic facts. First, your reputation usually precedes you, so each job is important.
Secondly, meeting a client's needs in terms of subject matter, budget and time constraints is the most important thing to the client. And thirdly, if I can exceed my clients' expectations, the first two facts take care of themselves.
'Before stained glass (in my 'other' life), I obtained a BBA in Business and completed a Master's Degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
While in the Air Force, I began working in stained glass. I learned from reading books, visiting studios, and receiving advice from many sources. In this manner, I have combined what I feel are the best of the 'old' and 'new' techniques in stained glass design and fabrication."
'I have completed projects for over one hundred churches, including new stained glass and/or restoration/conservation of older windows. In addition, hundreds of projects have been completed for homes, restaurants and businesses.
Working in stained glass is my choice because I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate the results of light being refracted through glass!! The attention to detail and pleasing clients is a very rewarding and satisfying experience.'
