A Journey Shaped By Passion, Education, And Experience
The story of Whitworth Stained Glass is rooted in a lifelong commitment to learning, craftsmanship, and artistic excellence. Before entering the stained glass industry, founder Jack Whitworth earned a business degree from Texas State University and a Master's degree from the University of Southern California. While serving in the Air Force, he developed a fascination with stained glass that eventually became a lifelong pursuit. Jack has been an Accredited Professional Stained Glass member since 1988. He served at all levels, including President of the Stained Glass Association of America. This organization serves as the Standards and Guidelines for the industry and was founded in 1903.

Over the decades, that passion evolved into a respected studio serving clients across the country. Through continuous education, industry leadership, and hands-on experience, Whitworth Stained Glass has completed projects ranging from custom residential installations to large-scale church windows and complex restoration work. Today, the studio continues to blend traditional techniques with modern expertise while remaining focused on delivering exceptional results for every client.

Whether creating a new design or preserving a historic window, our mission is to combine artistry, technical skill, and personalized service to produce stained glass that enriches the spaces where people live, work, worship, and gather.
Every project is approached with careful attention to detail, ensuring the finished work reflects the highest standards of quality and artistry. There are countless short cuts not even noticeable when designing and fabricating a stained glass window. (Kind of like levels of quality when designing and assembling a vehicle!) There is a plethora of styles, subject matter, colors, widths of leads to provide strength and focal emphasis and numerous combinations from which to choose.
We believe the best results come from listening closely to our clients and transforming their ideas into beautiful stained glass creations. The top level of membership--The Accredited Professsional Studio by the Stained Glass Association of America.
Historic stained glass represents more than glass and lead. It reflects stories, traditions, and craftsmanship worth protecting for future generations.
